ROUTE TO: ZANDVOORT
The 3rd and 4th rounds of the FIA WTCC will take place next
week at Circuit Park Zandvoort, in the Netherlands. This is
the first time the championship is visiting the Dutch racetrack
located on the shores of the North Sea.
The event was officially presented yesterday at Zandvoort's
Take Five Beach Club. During a press conference attended by
national media, Marcello Lotti - General Manager of KSO -
and Erik Weijers - circuit's CEO - delivered speeches, while
Dutch drivers Tom Coronel and Olivier Tielemans were available
for interviews.
"We are especially proud to bring an FIA World Championship
back to Zandvoort 22 years after they hosted the last Formula
One Dutch Grand Prix in 1985," said Lotti.
