Panasonic Toyota Racing: Testing at Paul Ricard
Panasonic Toyota Racing is conducting an extensive four-day
test session at Circuit Paul Ricard in the south of France
this week with its full complement of drivers on duty. Ralf
Schumacher and Jarno Trulli kicked off the testing week on
Tuesday, both at the wheel of the revised TF106B chassis that
will make its race debut at the Monaco Grand Prix next week.
The pair completed 219 laps of the track between them with
Jarno setting the third fastest time less than one-tenth-of-a-second
from pace setter Fernando Alonso. Test duo Ricardo Zonta and
Olivier Panis will take over for the final two days at the
HTTT on Thursday and Friday, after which a full test round-up
press release will be issued.
