GREEN FLAG BTCC BOOSTED BY EXTRA ITV1 COVERAGE
Green Flag British Touring Car Championship star Anthony
Reid will make his second guest appearance on ITV1’s
dedicated motor sport show Speed Sunday Live this Sunday 1
August.
Reid, who won at Croft last weekend and has set the fastest
lap in the BTCC’s last five rounds, will be joined in
the Speed Sunday Live studio by team-mate Colin Turkington
and their WSR team’s car, the MG ZS.
Reid was on the show in May when viewers voted him a ‘BTCC
villain’ after he clashed on and off the track with
rivals Matt Neal and James Thompson at Silverstone.
This Sunday’s show will also include a day in the life
of a BTCC driver, featuring SEAT Sport UK’s Jason Plato
who had a separate camera crew follow his movements at Croft
where he won twice.
Speed Sunday Live is scheduled to start at 14.00 –
straight after ITV1’s one-hour BTCC highlights show
featuring all the action from Croft’s three championship
rounds.
