Employment Opportunity – ITTF Director of
Competitions
The ITTF is seeking the services of a “Competition Director”.
The Director of the Competition Department will be responsible
for all the ITTF competitions and will work in close cooperation
with the ITTF Technical Committee, the IT Manager, other ITTF
Departments and Committees as well as TMS International.
Bahrain Will Organise the 2011 World Junior Championships
The ITTF Board of Directors allocated the World Junior Championships
organisation to Bahrain in 2011 and to Cape Town (South Africa)
in 2012.
By this decision the second round of the continental rotation
looks as follows in order: Latin-America (2009), Europe, Asia
and Africa. North America and Oceania are encouraged to apply
for the years 2013-2014.
Brief News: Junior Commission - Algerian Junior Open
Cancelled
The Algerian Junior Open scheduled for 24th to 27th March
has been cancelled by the organisers. The ITTF Junior Circuit
will now consist of nineteen events involving five continents
