Britain team, I really wanted to do something to celebrate
aquatic achievements and founding the Splash Awards is one
of my proudest accomplishments outside of competition. I hope,
with my support, The Splash Awards will provide a platform
for recognising aquatic sporting success for years to come¡¨
The Splash Awards are sponsored by Speedo and supported by
British Swimming and the Amateur Swimming Association. Proceeds
raised from the event will benefit the British Athletes Commission
Benevolent Fund and SportsAid who have guaranteed that all
funds raised will be used directly for swimming related projects.
Callum Sneddon, Speedo, UK Sales Director said "We are
delighted to be sponsors of the Splash Awards for the third
time. They are doing a great job in recognising the talent
we have amongst our British aquatics athletes. As proud sponsors
of the British team, it is an honour to support an evening
which celebrates the success of athletes past and present,
while at the same time raises money for worthwhile funds'."
