OPEN WATER TITLES TO BE DECIDED
The best young open water swimmers from around the country
will converge on Holme Pierrepont in Nottingham tomorrow for
the ASA Age Group Championships and 5k British Championships.
More than 150 swimmers will take to the water at the one-day
event. The morning sees the age-group swimmers fight for the
medals, with the more experienced competitors vying for the
British titles in the afternoon.
The 5k British Championships will mark a return to home waters
for Cassandra Patten after a busy period of international
events, in which she achieved considerable success.
The event will see the more experienced crop of GB swimmers
go head-to-head with the rising stars of junior talent.
