TEDESCO 8TH AT ANAHEIM
Ivan
Tedesco raced his RM-Z450 into eighth place after recovering
from a slip-up at Saturday night’s Anaheim Supercross
in California – the third round of the AMA Supercross
series.
The Team Makita Suzuki rider - nursing an injured hand incurred
in the opening round of the World Supercross series in Canada
in December - made a challenge for the lead with race winner
James Stewart on the opening laps but made a mistake halfway
through the 20-lap Main Event. He plummeted to 10th position,
but clawed back two places in the following laps.
Reigning Champion and Tedesco’s Makita Suzuki team
mate Ricky Carmichael did not race at the event as he has
opted to ride only selected races in 2007 and was part of
the TV Commentary team.
