CARMICHAEL WINS IN SAN FRANCISCO

Ricky Carmichael Ricky Carmichael raced his RM-Z450 to an 8.5-second victory at Saturday night’s San Francisco Supercross at AT& T Park in California.

The Makita Suzuki rider – taking part in his last West Coast Supercross ride of the season as he opts to take up NASCAR Racing – gated third behind Chad Reed (Yamaha) and James Stewart (Kawasaki) in the 20-lap Main Event.

He took the lead at the mid-race point when both Stewart and Reed slipped off and was never challenged from then on.
