SUZUKI WINS UAE DESERT CHALLENGE CHAMPIONSHIP
The 17th UAE Desert Challenge, which took place in the Rub
Al Khali desert from October 25th to November 2nd, was the
final round of the 2007 FIA Cross Country World Cup for Cars
& the FIM Cross Country World Championship for motorcycles.
The UAE Desert Challenge brought together the FIA Cross Country
Rally World Cup & the FIM Cross Country Rallies World
Championship, with a total of 55 cars, 5 trucks & 80 motorcycles
& quads.
Suzuki rider Sebestian Hussaini took the FIM World Champion
Quad class title on his LT-R450, which featured a standard
engine and suspension, plus uprated frame and larger fuel
tank with two side mounted spare fuel tanks.
Hussaini is sponsored by Autosport, the Suzuki Distributor
in UAE, who provided him with the LT-R450, riding gear, entrance
fees, equipment, parts and support team.
