SUPER AGURI F1 TEAM commenced its winter testing programme
for the 2008 Formula One season today at the Circuit de Catalunya.
Host of the Spanish Grand Prix since 1991 and a regular on
the F1 testing calendar, the circuit is located in the Spanish
city of Montmeló which belongs to the province of Barcelona
in Catalonia.
SAF1 Team driver Anthony Davidson was at the wheel of the
SA07-05B for the first day of the test. Preparations for the
2008 season kicked off with Anthony spending the morning evaluating
the new MES controls system that will become mandatory for
the coming season and completed a programme of electronic
system check analysis, continuing the development work in
the afternoon.
