SUPER AGURI F1 TEAM concluded its three-day test at the Circuit
de la Comunitat Valenciana Ricardo Tormo in Spain today.
Anthony's test programme focused on tyre evaluation of the
compounds available from Bridgestone Potenza, seconded by
set-up work, brake material analysis and control system evaluation.
Takuma Sato
"Unfortunately we did not achieve much running due to
bad weather conditions, which was a little disappointing as
our winter programme had been running well up to this point.
We were unable to learn a great deal at this test, but we
were able to assess a few things on the control side. On a
positive note, we have now run these systems tests in tricky
condition which we will obviously have to face during some
race weekends. I hope that the next test will provide more
time on track and information."
Anthony Davidson
“It was a good day (Thursday). We completed 133 laps
and made up for lost time due to bad weather during the test.
We got some important tyre work done and it was interesting
working with the different tyre options. We achieved some
good longer runs towards the end of the day and generally
I was happy with the balance of the car.”
Graham Taylor, Sporting Director
"Weather spoilt the initial two days of the test, but
once again we managed some solid running with both drivers.”
