Takuma Sato joined SUPER AGURI F1 TEAM for the final two
days running at Jerez, Spain, today.
The planned programme for the morning was for Takuma to gain
his first experience of the 2008 MES control system, evaluating
each control function and tuning them towards his preferences
for the coming season.
In the afternoon Takuma ran the new 2009 regulations slick
tyres with simulated 2009 down force levels for the first
time. He finished the day in 18th position, with a best time
of 1.21.093.
