Rainy, windy and then sunny: the Australian weather conditions
the performances and the setting up at Phillip Island. The
riders had wet free practice this morning and sunny qualifying
practice in the afternoon.
Lukas Pesek got the sixth, 4 tenths behind the poleman . Nico
Terol is 14th at 1 second and 3 tenths from the top.
Lukas Pesek: (6th - 1'39.596)
"The chassis and suspension set up is ok and I like
this track. I’m confident even if my Derbi could be
faster: we will work on it".
Nicolas Terol: (14th - 1'40.454)
"I have a good feeling with the bike but the strong
wind lifted up the front of my bike. Tomorrow we will work
on the carburation in order to improve the performance of
my Derbi: I know it is possibile".
