rider from east Europe won the 125cc Championship. But he
is not Lukas Pesek, one of the faster rider in 125cc, who
got 6 podiums and two victories this season. Unfortunately
the lack of points in some races compromised the fighth for
the Championship Title.
Today Lukas made a good race and finished fifth. Nico Terol
got eleventh in his home race.
Lukas Pesek: (5°)
"It was a hard race for me. I lost many positions in
the start and the tyre went off trying to close down the gap
from the front group.
I’m satisfied of my fourth in the Championship and of
the second place of Derbi, even if something more would have
been better. I thank all my team who supported my till the
end".
Nicolas Terol: (11°)
"It was a difficult race, especially in the final part.
I tenaciously fought to maintain the position and so my tyre
went off. This costed me the possibility to fight with Esaprgaro
in the last lap… I preferred not to take risks".
