VALSIR SEEDORF DERBI: GP OF QATAR - RACE
Valsir Seedorf Derbi on the podium!
 Lukas
Pesek, after a duel with De Rosa, is third on the podium thanks
to a clever and cautious race. Lukas’ bike had an engine
loss of power after half race and it was hard keeping back
the Aprilia Italian rider. During the race De Rosa took advantage
of the slipstream of Lukas, hoping to overtake him at the
end of the last straight. Lukas made a last perfect lap and
got the podium. Nico Terol is 16th. The Spaniard is passing
through a crisis after the crashes during the Jerez tests
last month.
Lukas Pesek (3rd): “I’m satisfied
of this beginning! It was an endless bagarre even if I had
preferred to fight with Faubel and Talmacsi. The season is
long and it is important to be among the leaders in each race,
going over the problems. I thank all the team and everyone
belives in me”.
Nico Terol (16°): “I don’t
know what happens. I have to find the right concentration.
I have problems to find the rhythm. My bike was ok but I haven’t
found the right chassis and suspension set up yet. Now I want
to concentrate myself on the race of Jerez and forget this
weekend”.
