The Champions League winner Clarence Seedorf was on the grid
with the Valsir Seedorf Derbi riders. Lukas was the protagonist
of a spectacular group and unlucky race, despite he gave his
best. He crashed out in the last lap due to a mistake. The
young Nico got the 12th position.
Lukas Pesek: (N.C.)
"I made a mistake. I lost the contact with the leading
group after I touched Iannone. I tried to recover the gap
of 4 seconds at eight laps to go. It was possible for me and
I recovered some positions but the tyre went off and in the
last corner I crashed out. I lost the leading of the championship
but we have still many races to do".
Nicolas Terol: (12th)
"It was a difficult race and I tried to do my best.
I like this track and even if I had some problems with Zanetti
losing some positions in the beginning then I slowly recovered
positions getting the 12th at the end. My Derbi was ok, I
had only some problems in the long straight".
