 It
was a very important race for the championship standings.
Lukas Pesek was very fast during the qualifying sessions of
the week-end and he could be protagonist of the 125cc race.
The race rhythm, not very aggressive, helped some slower riders
to reach the leaders. Lukas kept the leading positions for
the whole race but he slipped with two laps to go crashing
out with Faubel. The Czech rider could rejoin the race and
got the 13th position.
Nico jumped the start and had to “ride through penalty”
losing many positions and finished 23rd.
Lukas Pesek: (13th)
"The Aspar riders set the pace but I could stay with
them without problems. I would get the podium but I didn’t
expect KTM riders could be so aggressive.
It is a pity for the slide that involved Faubel, too. I’d
preferred to beat him on track instead gain points in this
way. I’m very sorry and I apologize to Hector".
Nicolas Terol: (23rd)
"I jumped the start deceived by the engage of the gear
by someone near me.
When I saw the notice “box” I understood that
it was no more possible for me to gain some points on this
track".
