GP OF ISTANBUL - RACE
It was finally a group 125cc race. On the podium the Italian
Corsi, Olive and Koyama. The protagonists of the previous
races are out of the podium: Lukas is 6th, he manages to limit
the points difference from Talmacsi (5th) and get important
points for the standings over Faubel (9th). Nico Terol ends
the race 16th.
Lukas Pesek: (6th)
"I’m satisfied. The season is long and it is important
to get always good results and try to not get heavy 0. During
the week-end we haven’t found the best set up for my
Derbi: I was very fast in corners but I lost speed in the
straight. After the warm up I was a little bit worried. I
started well and I tried to give my best. I waited the last
three laps and I tried to recover some positions but we were
too much and all very fast ".
Nicolas Terol: (16th)
"My Derbi wasn’t very fast in the straights and
the other riders could pass me easily. I hadn’t a good
pace. My technicians were able to improve the engine performance
in comparison with this morning but the other were faster
than me…".
