stage Istanbul. The track was still moist from overnight rain.
The free practice were characterized by caution. During the
afternoon a dry track allowed to reduce the lapping time but
the slippery surface prevented to get better times. Lukas
Pesek has been cautious and get the fifth. Nico Terol is 13th.
Lukas Pesek: (5° - 2’06.647)
"My Derbi is already set up for the race. I like very
much this track even if today there was few grip. I preferred
not to take risks. If tomorrow it will be sunny I can improve
in less slippery conditions or else it is all the same, I’m
ok".
Nicolas Terol: (13° - 2’07.561)
"I was behind Pasini, the today poleman, and I tried
to get a good time in his slipstream but I made a mistake
and so I lost a good chance. I rode almost all the time alone
and I think I’m recovering competitiveness: I’m
more confident… and my Derbi is perfect, too".
