FISA Council releases decision on 2011 World Rowing Championships

FISA, the International Rowing Federation today issued the
FISA Council decision on the bids for the 2011 World Rowing
Championships.
Three bids had been received by FISA earlier this year to
host the 2011 World Rowing Championships: Amsterdam (NED),
Bled (SLO) and Lucerne (SUI). The Council has decided to present
both Bled and Lucerne to the 2007 FISA Ordinary Congress for
the delegates of the National Rowing Federations to select
the definitive host venue on 3 September 2007 in Munich, Germany.
