World Rowing Partners grow to 15 for 2006
FISA, the International Rowing Federation is proud to announce
today that 15 rowing equipment manufacturers have joined the
2006 World Rowing Partnership Programme. The programme, which
aims at associating well-established rowing suppliers under
World Rowing patronage, has been growing since it was first
launched back in 2001. This year it reached its highest number
of partners including newcomers Swift International and Kaschper
Racing Shells joining the programme.
As rowing equipment manufacturers, each of these companies
is close to the sport by providing rowers with their performance
equipment. Over the years the partners have become increasingly
involved with FISA, providing services and support at World
Rowing events as well as helping the FISA Development Programme
develop rowing around the world. “The Partnership Programme
has helped us strengthen our relationships with these companies
by close collaboration and clearly defined objectives. We
are delighted that we can continue with these relationships
for the future and continue to develop the sport.” said
FISA Executive Director Matt Smith.
