Rowing Federation (FISA) honours Germany’s Werner Konrad,
longserving organiser of the Duisburg International Regatta,
with the 2005 Distinguished Services to International Rowing
Award.

27th October - The Evers-Swindell Sisters take the 2005
FISA Female Crew of the Year Award for Rowing
After head coach Richard Tonks, the International Rowing
Federation (FISA) has awarded a second 2005 FISA award to
New Zealand with Caroline and Georgina Evers-Swindell winning
the FISA Rowing Female Crew of the Year.

Cop designated 2005 FISA Rowing Male Crew of the Year
Cop and Spik won medals in two events at this year’s
World Rowing Championships; gold medals in the men’s
double sculls and silver medals in the men’s quadruple
