31st August - Round two, repechages - 2005 World Rowing
Championships
Today crews came back to race in their final opportunity
for advancement to the next round and, despite the top crews
having a rest day, the repechages saw top class racing and
three new World Best times set.

hours
The International Rowing Federation FISA today announced
that the start of the 2005 World Rowing Championships in Gifu,
Japan will be postponed for 48 hours due to typhoon Mawar

17th August - The Rowing World turns to Asia
The Championships, which take place from 28 August to 4 September
in Gifu Prefecture, Japan, will not only include the 23 traditional
boat classes, but also three adaptive rowing events which
will be raced on 2 and 3 September.
