ESTEVE RABAT DISCHARGED FROM HOSPITAL
After two days under observation at the Catalunya General
Hospital, the Repsol rider left the medical centre today and
is recovering favourably from the fall suffered last Friday
at Montmeló
Today at midday, Repsol KTM Team rider Esteve Rabat left
the Catalunya General Hospital after being discharged. In
the morning, the doctors carried out an electro-encephalogram,
the results ruling out any side-effects, confirming a healthy
recovery from the craniocerebral traumatism he had suffered
when admitted to the Intensive Care Unit on Friday afternoon.
Rabat was taken to a ward on Saturday night, given the positive
recovery observed throughout the day, with the Repsol rider
regaining consciousness in the morning. Esteve had to be content
with watching the races on television, where he was able to
receive the support of many riders who wished him a swift
recovery.
Now he will have to rest for a week, period during which
he can start to get back to life as normal, taking it easy
and gradually starting again with his training. If his development
continues to be satisfactory and the doctors give the the
go-ahead, the Repsol rider will wear his racing suit again
at the end of next week at Donington Park, where the British
Grand Prix will be held.

“I still feel slightly dizzy and don't feel very well
yet because of the medication, but I'm getting better all
the time. I've just left the hospital and I'm making progress.
You have to take these things with a positive attitude, you
can't get demotivated, and I'm already thinking about the
next race. I want to thank everyone who has asked about me
and given me support these last few days. A big thank you
to all of them.
