Paul Ricard Testing, Day 3
Final day of testing at Paul Ricard for the Renault F1 Team.
Giancarlo Fisichella finished today the testing programme
of the Renault F1 Team in the south of France.
At the wheel of the R26 04 chassis, the Italian was able
to run his programme without any major problem and remained
focused on tyre development with Michelin for the first European
races. The team seemed to be very pleased by the data and
the performance of Fisichella as he was all day long on top
of the laptime table. He finally set the second fastest laptime
in 1'04.327 and covered 160 laps today.
The Renault F1 Team will leave the Castellet tomorrow to
reach Barcelona where he will continue his programme next
week with his two race drivers at the wheel of the R26, Giancarlo
Fisichella and Fernando Alonso.

very good day after two busy days here in Paul Ricard. We
completed today our programme to prepare Imola and the tyre
work was very encouraging. Giancarlo did a great job once
again and seemed to be very satisfied with the car and its
behaviour to set up changes and to the new envelops. We are
going to Barcelona next week which promise to be a very busy
session!"
