NURBURGRING PREVIEW
At the threshold of the 7th round of the World Superbike
Championship 2008 at the Nurburgring, Germany, the Kawasaki
PSG-1 Corse team is valuating different solutions to bring
the ZX-10R to the competitiveness that the team wants to achieve.
The German circuit is complex and with a lot of variables,
weather included, and will surely give a lot of surprises
to the public.
New calibrations at the rear shock absorber of Makoto Tamada’s
bike will be tested to solve the chattering problems he accused
during the last round at Miller track in Salt Lake City.
The work on the French rider’s bike Regis Laconi, will
be focused on confirming the good result achieved in Salt
Lake City by using the new swing arm.
The Technical Director Francesco Mastrandrea trusts in the
team’s possibilities because sure of last improvements
in terms of engine and telemetry and decided to continue to
work in the same direction on this hard track.
