Career Highs Heather is one of the most consistent orienteers in Team GB.
GOLD: Super Elite O-Ringen (2003) Heather is the first non-Scandinavian for 25 years to win the Swedish O-Ringen.
GOLD: Heather helps her Norwegian club (Halden SK) to win the biggest relay in the world - Tio Mila (2002).
SILVER: World Cup, Japan 2000.
SILVER: World Cup, Australia 2000
BRONZE: 3rd place overall in the 2000 World Cup series.
BRONZE: European Championships Relay 2000.
6th place overall in the 2002 World Cup series.
Top Ten positions: WOC 2003 / WOC 1999 / European Championships / Nordic Championships.

How she started O Did the Nottingham “Go For Gold” Orienteering course for school children run by Hilary Palmer (when I was 8) and my family took it up seriously a couple of years later.

How she started O Through my family. My dad was a rally navigator but wanted a sport that his young family could do together and a work colleague suggested orienteering. Never really looked back and the whole family still orienteer 21 years later.

British Champion in every junior age-class from M10 through to M21. Swedish Champion in 1994 (Relay) and therby being first non-Swede to take a GOLD in the Swedish Championships.
