PODIUM FINISH FOR TEAM GB AT THE WORLD ORIENTEERING CHAMPIONSHIPS
It was a fantastic result for Team GB in the last final of
the week for both the men and the women. Sunday 19th September
was the Relay in the World Orienteering Championships. Team
GB finished on the podium in both the men’s and women’s
event. The men’s team was the same bronze medalist team
from the 2003 World Championships Jon Duncan, Jamie Stevenson
and Dan Marston.

The women’s team finished in the same position as 2003,
6th. The women in the team were first leg Sarah Rollins, second
leg Helen Winskill and the final leg Heather Monro.
