Richard Egger Insurance MSA Asphalt Rally Championship
Round 1 : John Price Rallying Tour of Epynt - 2nd
March
2006 champions David Kynaston & Andy Russell began their
quest for the 2008 title in fine style with second overall,
and maximum points, in their Audi A3 Quattro on the opening
round, the John Price Rallying Tour of Epynt. John Price himself
took second-place points with fifth overall and former MSA
Gravel Rally Champion David Mann, who is contesting the Asphalt
Championship for the first time, was next. Andy Fenwick's
Skoda Octavia WRC and Simon Mauger's two-wheel drive Ford
Escort RS took the fourth & fifth place points, while
defending champion Steve Simpson (Hyundai Accent WRC) was
sixth.
The next round of the Richard Egger Insurance MSA Asphalt
Rally Championship is the RBS International Manx Rally on
9/10th May.
