Hawkstone Park – International Moto-X – Sunday

All roads lead to Hawkstone Park
In just over seven days time Hawkstone Park will become the
focus of the motocross World once more, as this famous venue
hosts its tenth international meeting on Sunday 2nd March.
Confirming the status of the event, the start list is packed
with the planets finest riders and includes none other than:
Steve Ramon – 2007 MX1 World Champion, Josh Coppins
– MX1 Vice World Champion, Billy Mackenzie – 2007
MX1 British Champion, Mike Brown – 2007 MX2 British
Champion, Tommy Searle – 2007 MX2 Vice World Champion,
Ken De Dycker, Tanel Leok, plus home favourites Carl Nunn,
Stephen Sword, James Noble and Tom Church.
The stage is set for yet another epic showdown at this dramatic
circuit, with many of the riders breaking cover for the first
time on their new bikes and in their new colours. The Salop
Motor Club has been working hard behind the scenes to present
their historic track in the best possible form, in order to
ensure that the racing is both fast and furious. Add to this
a large trade area, where the UK biggest off road players
will be showing and selling all their latest wears, plus offering
some special Hawkstone bargains, and you will understand why
this is a meeting not to be missed.
Irrespective of where you live, there are no excuses, as
Hawkstone Park MX Circuit is centrally located in the UK.
It can be found just off the A49 near to the village of Hopton,
the exit is located between B5065 and B5063, and is sign posted
“Booley / Stanton ”. Event signage will direct
traffic into the main entrance, and to the respective free
car parks. There will be a no parking zone on the roads leading
to the track, these will be patrolled by wardens who will
issue parking tickets to any offending vehicles and who will
also arrange for the removal of such vehicles if necessary.
As always a large crowd is expected, so visitors are advised
to arrive early. Entrance tickets will be readably available
at the gate on the day. Entrance tickets, including full paddock
access will be priced £25.00 for adults and £15.00
for children (aged 5-15 years old) / OAP’s – Children
under 5 years old can enter free of charge if accompanied
by an adult.
