GENERATE AND WRIGLEY NOMINATED FOR SPORT INDUSTRY AWARD
Generate Sponsorship and Wrigley’s Airwaves® have
been nominated for a prestigious award at the high profile
Sport Industry Awards which take place in London on 1 May.
Wrigley’s Airwaves® sponsorship of GSE Ducati in
the British Superbike Championship has been shortlisted in
the ‘Best Sponsorship of a Sport Team or Individual’
category and is up against; Adidas – Jonny Wilkinson,
Nationwide Building Society – England Football Team,
Nike - England Rugby, O2 – O2’s ‘Never Surrender’
Rugby World Cup campaign and RAC – Team RAC.
Over 1,000 people will attend the Sport Industry Awards,
which last year saw prizes presented to brands and personalities
such as Carlsberg, Adidas, Nike and David Beckham.
The judging panel for the awards includes the BBC’s
John Inverdale, former Chief Press Secretary to Tony Blair,
Alastair Campbell and Premier League Chief Executive, Richard
Scudamore.
Wrigley’s Airwaves® sponsorship has been a superb
success story for the brand in supporting recognition of Airwaves’
‘Kick Up A Gear™’ positioning. The sponsorship
is integrated throughout the business with high profile activity
aimed at the many fans that witness and follow the GSE Ducati
team’s high adrenaline activities.
