Mildenhall set to welcome British Minibike series

Nick ColeWith the mud hardly dry from an action packed opening round of the 2007 British Four Stroke Minibike Championship, the riders are already preparing for the second counting event. Sunday 17th June will see the mighty minibike brigade descend on the excellent Motoland facility located at Mildenhall, Suffolk.

The sand based circuit is recognised as one best minibike tracks in the UK, with it having been developed and designed with the kind assistance of National MX champion Carl Nunn. Britain’s leading minibike rider Trevor Scott along with Nunn have pooled their knowledge to create a track that is guaranteed to produce some great racing.

With the rain having done its best to disrupt the first round, everyone involved will be hoping for a brighter backdrop for the second showing of the six different and very competitive classes that make up this exciting new series. Even with just one round gone certain riders having already begun their assault in an attempt to be crowned the first ever National Minibike Champions.

Once again entrance for spectators will be free of charge, so the whole family can come along and enjoy this new discipline. The mix of some highly talented minibike riders racing with an assortment of weekend warriors means that there is never a dull moment out on the circuit, with handlebar banging action being very much the order of the day.

For those wishing to travel to Mildenhall, the track can be located using its postcode – IP28 8QL.

“The feedback from the first round has been fantastic, but we know that we can still improve on certain things. Round two is going to be even better, I was at the circuit last week, and everything is ready for a great day of Grand Prix level minibike racing.” Stated Tristan Tunstall, Managing Director of MBP.

The second round of the series is kindly being sponsored by SP Landscapes.
