Tiago Monterio to Attend Bavaria City Racing in Rotterdam
Midland Formula 1 Racing is pleased to announce that Tiago
Monteiro will be joining his Dutch teammate, Christijan Albers,
and the rest of the MF1 Racing team at the second-annual Bavaria
City Racing road show in Rotterdam, Holland, on Sunday, August
20, 2006.
The participation of the popular Portuguese driver means
that MF1 Racing will be the first Formula 1 team to have both
of its race drivers in attendance for this dynamic event,
which is expected to draw in excess of 300,000 spectators.
"It`s a great pleasure to be invited to such a gigantic
event in Rotterdam," said Tiago Monteiro. "From
what I`ve seen and heard, it`s a huge party for the fans,
and that`s what motorsport should be about. I hope everyone
will get a thrill out of seeing Christijan and I blast through
the streets in the Midland M16. As for us drivers, it will
be nice change of pace as we get to enjoy a bit of F1 without
all the stress and pressure of actually competing!"
