Pedro de la Rosa and Gary Paffett were in attendance in Jerez
today as Team McLaren Mercedes continued its pre-season testing
programme in interim MP4-20s. The two day test will focus
on further tyre development work with Michelin.
Running at the Circuito de Jerez began mid-morning due to
the cold, damp conditions. Pedro left the garage just after
11am, with Gary taking to the track shortly before 11:50am.
Running in the afternoon was uninterrupted and saw Pedro and
Gary complete 174 laps, covering 770km in total.
Pedro finished the day with the fastest time of 1m18.853,
whilst Gary was lying in third place with a 1m19.135.
