Team McLaren Mercedes completed day three of a four day test at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo today, with Pedro de la Rosa joining Juan Pablo Montoya at the Valencia track.

Juan Pablo continued to focus on car evaluation work and longer runs in the MP4-21, although again there were a number of red flag stoppages, with 15 other drivers on track, which affected his programme.

Despite this, Juan Pablo covered 61 laps of the Spanish track, which equates to over 235km in total. His fastest time of the day, a 1m12.477, put him in fourteenth position on the timesheets. Juan Pablo also spent some time in the garage during the course of the afternoon, with a minor electrical issue, which was resolved by the test team and the Colombian returned to the track.

Pedro returned to the Michelin development programme in the MP4-20 interim car. He completed over 360km at Valencia and was thirteenth fastest overall.

Juan Pablo and Pedro will be present tomorrow for Team McLaren Mercedes final day of testing this week.
