Juan Pablo Montoya and Pedro de la Rosa were in attendance
in Jerez today for Team McLaren Mercedes.
Juan Pablo, who was at the wheel of the MP4-21, completed
over 240km as the Colombian covered 54 laps, with his programme
focused on set-up work and various component evaluations.
Juan Pablo's fastest time of the day was a 1m17.272, which
was third on the timesheets. The day's running for Juan Pablo
began shortly after 13:00, as the test team had been completing
the engine installation prior to the start the four day test
session.
Team mate Pedro de la Rosa put in the fourth quickest time
of the day, with a 1m17.421. Pedro put in over 490km as he
worked through Michelin tyre development tests.
Pedro de la Rosa will remain in Jerez tomorrow, where he
will be joined by Kimi Raikkonen.
