KIMI RAIKKONEN
"When the Michelin tyres were new the car felt really
good and was quick, but we struggled a little this afternoon
on old tyres, and I think we need to try a different tyre
tomorrow to see if that is better."
PEDRO DE LA ROSA
"We were running early in the morning in the first session
to work out a base line for our set-up as there was rain threatening
during the afternoon session. We only ran used tyres in the
afternoon and have been working on the balance, but we are
not satisfied yet and have to improve in tomorrow's free practice."
RON DENNIS
"As there was a possibility of rain in the afternoon
session we decided to vary our programme accordingly. The
low ambient temperatures and very clean circuit following
this week's earlier rain has increased the challenge for both
tyre companies. All cars suffered significant levels of degradation,
but the true picture will not be apparent until the ambient
climbs, which we expect to do tomorrow, and the circuit rubbers
in. That said our pace this morning was competitive and our
work this afternoon constructive."
NORBERT HAUG
"The morning session was good, however practice in the
afternoon was difficult as we haven't found a suitable set-up
yet."
