RACE 4 – CHESTER RACE COURSE, CHESHIRE JUNE 12TH/13TH
Race 4 of the 2004 NWLMRA Championship Series will be held
at Chester Race Course, as part of the Chester Lions Carnival,
over the weekend of June 12th/13th
Following some very close racing at the previous round, #31
Daz Whitehead continues to lead in Class 3 Tecumseh by just
5 points from #96 Chris Randall. Defending 2003 Champion #27
Stuart Polkinghorne is expecting to race his new machine this
weekend and there is little doubt that it will be faster than
the preceding version
In Class 3 Briggs, #11 Sam Shaw holds a healthy lead over
#18 Sheldon Webster, something that he is sure to try and
turn around this weekend. #7 Andy Little has made a big impact
since bringing out his new racing mower and now leads Class
2 Wheels by 3 points from #24 Dave Smith
#96 Chris Randall continues to lead the Grand Prix Challenge
by a single lap from his brother #69 Matt Randall. #31 Daz
Whitehead is now clear of early pacesetters #24 Dave Smith
and #12 Martin Shaw in 3rd place. If #27 Stuart Polkinghorne
brings out his new mower, then expect him to climb the rankings
over the next few events
