RACE 3 – MYERSCOUGH AGRICULTURAL COLLEGE, LANCS JUNE
5TH/6TH
The North West Lawn Mower Racing Association (NWLMRA) are
pleased to announce that Race 3 of the 2004 Championship Series
will be held over the weekend of June 5th/6th at Myerscough
Agricultural College in Lancashire
#31 Daz Whitehead is looking to defend his early position
as Championship leader in the hotly contested Class 3 Tecumseh
Points competition. #96 Chris Randall and #27 Stuart Polkinghorne
are expected to be the main challengers for race wins over
the weekend
In Class 3 Briggs, #11 Sam Shaw holds an 11 point advantage
over #18 Sheldon Webster, something that he is sure to try
and turn around this weekend. #7 Andy Little made a big impact
last weekend and now leads Class 2 Wheels by a solitary point
from #24 Dave Smith
The Grand Prix Trophy is a series of 10 minute races, where
all drivers complete as many laps as possible within the allotted
time. Following problems for many of the leading drivers in
the opening Rounds of the season, #96 Chris Randall holds
a narrow one lap advantage from his younger brother #69 Matt
