RACE 3 – MYERSCOUGH AGRICULTURAL COLLEGE, LANCS JUNE 5TH/6TH

The North West Lawn Mower Racing Association (NWLMRA) are pleased to announce that Race 3 of the 2004 Championship Series will be held over the weekend of June 5th/6th at Myerscough Agricultural College in Lancashire

#31 Daz Whitehead is looking to defend his early position as Championship leader in the hotly contested Class 3 Tecumseh Points competition. #96 Chris Randall and #27 Stuart Polkinghorne are expected to be the main challengers for race wins over the weekend

In Class 3 Briggs, #11 Sam Shaw holds an 11 point advantage over #18 Sheldon Webster, something that he is sure to try and turn around this weekend. #7 Andy Little made a big impact last weekend and now leads Class 2 Wheels by a solitary point from #24 Dave Smith

The Grand Prix Trophy is a series of 10 minute races, where all drivers complete as many laps as possible within the allotted time. Following problems for many of the leading drivers in the opening Rounds of the season, #96 Chris Randall holds a narrow one lap advantage from his younger brother #69 Matt Randall
