2004 e-Newsletter
Welcome to February’s Newsletter. The start of the
2004 race season is getting closer all the time and many mowers
are being prepared and modified for the opening event of the
season in early May. The race calendar is now taking shape
and a provisional list of events will be issued shortly after
the AGM
NWLMRA News
Following a productive meeting of club-members in November,
several ideas and options were put forward to allow the club
to grow and move forward, these are due to be discussed and
finalised at the Annual & General Meeting. Full details
of any decisions made will be announced in next month’s
Newsletter
Nigel Sands, our Club Secretary, has made the decision to
retire from his post. This means that we are now searching
for a replacement. Nigel has previously said that the job
isn’t difficult but it is sometimes time-consuming.
Do you want the job? If so, please speak to Nigel before the
AGM then he can give you the details of what is involved

There is a selection of videos available in the download section
of the Website. They are all from the NWLMRA 6Hr Race
The forum has been getting a lot of use over the recent weeks,
please keep visiting it and giving us your views, or asking
any questions you need answers to
AGM
The 2004 Annual & General Meeting will take place on Saturday
28th February, with a 10.00am start time. The meeting will
be held in Eddie Randall’s garage and the Club will
provide lunch. Please arrive promptly, and air your views.
Hopefully this will be a useful meeting and it will be the
start of a successful year of racing for everyone
