16th October - Race Report from the NWLMRA 6Hr Endurance
Race ~ St.Michael's, Oct 12th’03
18 crews lined up for the 11.00am le-mans style start with
the mowers on the front straight and the drivers on the pit
straight. The race was started by the Make-A-Wish Bear and
they were off.

7th October - NWLMRA 6 HOUR RACE ~ 12TH OCTOBER, 2003
Plans are now well under way for the return of the 6 hour
race (and the evening do). All the usual things will be happening
it's just the venue that has changed.

2nd October - The latest NWLMRA survey focuses on people
who don't race.
We are trying to find out what newcomers to the sport are
looking for, as well as existing members who aren't racing.
It appears that a quarter of the people who responded to September's
Survey are building mowers. About the same number of people
are also looking for more information on lawn mower racing.
The next survey will focus on these two points. Please take
your time to vote sometime during October. Visit www.nwlmra.org

26th September - ENTRIES UPDATE FOR 6 HOUR ENDURANCE RACE
Due to a lower than expected number of entries, the deadline
has now been extended to 9 October 2003. Contact Nigel Sands

22nd September - BLMRA 2003 World Championships
No.27 Stuart Polkinghorne successfully competed in the 2003
BLMRA World Championships, held in West Sussex over the weekend
of 20-21st Sept'03. The title was decided over a number of
heats held over both days. Eventual victor, No.47 Sean Jonas
won a final heat shootout to deprive the No.27 of the world
title.
20th September - 6 HOUR ENDURANCE RACE ~ 12TH OCTOBER, 2003
The North West Lawn Mower Racing Association (NWLMRA) will
be holding their annual end-of-season 6 Hour Endurance Race
at St.Michael’s, near Garstang, in Lancashire on Sunday
12th October, 2003

17th September - NWLMRA Race Report from Round 17, Cwmythig
Hill, Rhayader
The Final Round of the 2003 NWLMRA Championship Series was
at Cwmythig Hill MotoX track. However, it brought no real
surprises (other than the length of the journey to the meeting!)
but the competitors enjoyed a good day’s racing on a
fast and flowing circuit
