2nd December - USA to host 2005 World Championships

The United States have won the right to host the 2005 International Federation World Lacrosse Association (IFWLA) World Championships. The event will be held at the prestigious US Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland, from 23 June - 3 July. The newly remodelled Navy-Marine Corp Memorial 30,000 seat capacity Stadium, located just outside of Annapolis and the U.S. Naval Academy grounds, features a recently updated playing surface, VIP suites and start-of-the-art training facilities.
