UEA Retain National Student Title
UEA Korfball Club have won the BUSA Nationals for the third
year running, after defeating Sheffield Hallam University
on penalties in the final. The score was 3-3 with about 3
minutes to go and Hallam scored what looked to be the winner
with two minutes left but UEA replied with only 30 seconds
on the clock. Hallam came close again in the last few seconds
but the game ended in stalemate and UEA won the penalty shoot-out
- their third penalty win of the tournament after also being
taken to penalties in the quarter-final and semi-final.
