Results
There were some hard fought matches, with several results
much closer than might have been predicted. English champions
Mitcham were only leading new club Manchester Warriors 4-2
at half-time

30th Nov - National U16 championship results
Kingfisher and Bearsted (both from Kent) have moved through
to the finals of the National Championships for Under 16 teams,
to be played in April 2007.

13th Nov - Great Britain U21s finish fourth
The Great Britain U21 korfball team lost 11-6 to Belgium
in the European U21 championship semi-finals, despite a good
performance, and then narrowly lost the bronze medal playoff
to Germany.

Round Results
The results from the BKA Cup Round 1b are now (mostly) in.
Aston Uni and Cambridge Tigers both withdrew on Friday, leaving

10th Nov - Great Britain lose to Netherlands
The Great Britain U21 korfball team lost their latest second-round
pool game 28-5 to tournament favourites the Netherlands, but
have still qualified for the semi-finals.

9th Nov - Great Britain U21 Korfball Team beat Catalans
by Golden Goal
In an exciting game against Catalonia, the Great Britain
U21 korfball won in golden goal extra time, therefore securing
a top four finish and achieving qualification for the 2008
World Youth Championships.

8th Nov - Great Britain hang on to gain 2nd place in their
pool
GB U21s lost out 14-15 to the Czechs in a close fought game,
but the result was still enough to secure qualification for
the top pools in the second phase of the European U21 championships.

account with a win
The Great Britain U21 team won their opening match at the
European Youth Championships on Sunday, 10-9 against Germany.
