Scotland wins Four Nations tournament
The Scotland korfball team have won the inaugural Four Nations
tournament played in Luxembourg on 13th-14th May, with the
Welsh team finishing in second place.
With both British sides defeating the hosts and korfball
newcomers Greece, the title came down to the all-British clash.
Despite being behind for most of the game, Scotland took advantage
of late tactical errors by the Welsh team, to snatch victory
from the jaws of defeat, 13-12.
Both teams will now prepare for the first ever Commonwealth
and Friends tournament to be held in London in July, where
the England team, containing the entire current Great Britain
squad, will be overwhelming favourites.
