Team Alpha Boilers Racing - Klaus and Parzer take on Schleiz
Superside.
Klaus
Klaffenböck and Christian Parzer will be in action once
again this weekend at Schleiz when World’s Sidecar Championship
starts into the new season. The triangular circuit of the
Schleizer Dreieck is situated in Thuringia/Germany. Built
in 1923 it is Germany’s oldest race track surrounded
by a landscape comparable to Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium
or to the Mountain Course of the TT. Schleiz with its 3.808
km is one of the rare tracks where the riders have to go counter
clockwise. The average width of the track is 10 meters. In
2004 Webster/Woodhead set the lap record for sidecars with
1’30.263.
For Klaffenböck/Parzer it is the final race they will
compete in before heading to the Isle of Man TT races. At
Schleiz they will contest the two open class races as they
did last time out at Most. One of their main contenders at
this year’s TT will be Dave Molyneux who is also competing
at Schleiz. Klaffi and Parzer are looking forward to meet
Moly and many other friends again on the upcoming weekend
in Germany.
