BRC Dressage to Music Championships and Quadrille Selection
Trial 2007
The British Riding Clubs Dressage to Music Championships
will take place on 6-7 October 2007 at Addington Manor Equestrian
Centre near Buckingham.
The Championship is the culmination of qualifiers across Britain
and is split into four sections. The first two sections are
for the Senior and Junior novice levels, one for horses with
zero British Dressage points and the other for horses with
up to 74 BD points. The third section is for elementary level,
for horses with up to 149 BD points, and the final section
is pairs, for horses with up to 74 BD points.
Admission is free for spectators and the competition is scheduled
to start at 10am on Saturday, 6 October for the Juniors and
9am on Sunday, 7 October for the Seniors.
The selection trial for Quadrille of the Year will also take
place on Saturday, 6 October with 15 teams competing. Teams
this year include Pirates of the Caribbean, Snow White and
Lawrence of Arabia.
The Quadrille rehearsals will take place on Saturday morning
with turnout and performance in the afternoon after the Junior
Dressage. The teams of four will perform a musical ride in
costume and four chosen teams will be selected to take part
in the final at Olympia, on Wednesday, 19 December.
