The British Horse Society awards approved status to inner-city
farm working with the disabled
The British Horse Society's Chairman Patrick Print FBHS has
presented a plaque to an inner-city farm in London - after
it achieved Approved Riding Centre status.
He gave the award to Deen City Farm, Wimbledon, on 28 February.
The farm, a small inner-city riding school giving Riding for
Disabled (RDA) lessons, achieved BHS approved status after
a BHS Inspection on 9 February.
Mr Print said: "We are absolutely delighted that they
have achieved BHS Approval. This is the sort of work, involving
people with disability in inner cities, that is very close
to our hearts at the BHS."
Ben Cheetham, Project Manager of Deen City Farm, said: "We
have been seeking to reach BHS standards for some time now
and we are delighted that Patrick Print came down here to
present us with the BHS Approvals plaque."
There are more than 900 BHS Approved Establishments in the
UK, Ireland, Belgium, Hong Kong, Spain, Italy, Dubai, Malaysia
