BRC National Horse Trials Championships set for August 5-7
Offchurch Bury Estate - near Royal Leamington Spa - will
play host to the British Riding Clubs' National Horse Trials
Championships.
The event, sponsored by South Essex Insurance Brokers for
the sixth year running, is on from Friday 5 August till Sunday
7 August.
The three days are action packed kicking off with the Junior
Horse Trials Championships on Friday, which is a One Day Event.
This is also the start of the Open Horse Trials and Special
Open Horse Trials Three Day Events. Saturday will see the
start of the Novice Two Day Event with all three culminating
in the grand finale on Sunday.
Offchurch Bury Estate boasts beautiful grounds and the River
Leam winds its way through the course, providing a natural
water crossing for the roads and tracks phase and an inviting
water complex on the cross country course.
Competition starts at 9am on Friday, August 5 with the Junior
Dressage. Their Cross Country Phase commences at 11am. Saturday
action starts at 9am with Novice Dressage, followed by the
Open Speed and Endurance Phases at 10am.
Sunday morning will start at 9am with the Special Open Vetting
and the Novice Speed and Endurance phases. The Open Vetting
and the Special Open Show Jumping following on at 9.30am and
10am respectively.
Admission to this event is free of charge and spectators
are welcome to attend and take advantage of the trade stands
and catering wagons.
