British Riding clubs Festival of the Hunter 2005
Around 400 competitors expected at British Riding Clubs and
Kbis Equine Insurance Festival of the Hunter
The stage is set for another exciting Festival of the Hunter,
the British Riding Clubs' championship event for hunter trials
and showing classes.
The event, generously sponsored by Kbis Equine Insurance,
will take place on Sunday 1 May 2005, at Grange Farm, Wittering,
near Peterborough.
Here are the championship classes taking place during the
day:
Working Hunter Senior Novice Hunter Trials
Working Hunter Pony Senior Open Hunter Trials
Ridden Lightweight Hunter Junior Hunter Trials
Ridden Middleweight Hunter
Ridden Heavyweight Hunter
Ridden Novice Hunter
Ridden Cob
Individuals, as well as teams, will be awarded rosettes and
prizes in the hunter trial classes, for which 300 competitors
have qualified at events around the UK.
In the showing classes, which has 100 entries this year,
individual awards are presented down to 10th place, and the
three judges taking part will decide on an overall Best in
Show at the end of the day.
Emma Spivey, head of British Riding Clubs, said: "We

continuing support.

have put together yet another lovely course for us in their
